Franklyn K. Gonyoe – Executive Director

Franklyn Gonyoe is the General Manager of LMHS, a leadership position achieved through a demonstrated record of strategic growth since his start with the organization in 2013. As an entrepreneurial leader with 19 years of diverse experience, his expertise encompasses strategic leadership, business development, marketing, operations management, CRM and health insurance.
His professional foundation is built on an academic portfolio, including an MBA in Management, a BSc in Insurance with Actuarial Science, and a PGC in Management, further strengthened by certificates in Monitoring & Evaluation, Human Resource Management and Marketing.
He also has a certification in Enterprise Design Thinking from IBM and holds a lean six sigma green belt.
Franklyn plays an active role in shaping the industry as an Executive Committee Member of the Private Health Insurance Association Ghana (PHIAG). His commitment to professional excellence is reflected in key affiliations and memberships with the Chartered Insurance Institute Ghana (CIIG), the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), the Organization of Certified Risk Managers (OCRM), and the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), underscoring his comprehensive grasp of market dynamics and risk management.
Guided by the Kaizen philosophy of continuous improvement, he is dedicated to lifelong learning he is currently pursuing knowledge in Data analytics and Cyber security and extends his expertise by consulting for SMEs on strategy and business development.

Sarah-Stephanie Thompson – Non-Executive Director

Sarah-Stephanie Thompson is a distinguished Chartered Accountant with expertise in financial management, tax strategy, budget oversight, and regulatory compliance. She is recognized for her ability to resolve complex accounting challenges and deliver sustainable results through effective financial leadership and governance. Her broad competencies span accounting operations, internal controls, payroll administration, tax compliance, and regulatory management.
She brings a proven ability to strengthen stakeholder relationships, generate actionable insights from financial data, and streamline processes that drive organizational efficiency and growth. A committed member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana), the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, she upholds the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
With a forward-looking mindset, strategic innovation, and strong financial acumen, Sarah-Stephanie is a trusted advisor and valuable asset to organizations aiming to achieve growth with integrity.

Dr Gideon Assan – Non-Executive Director

Gideon Assan, MD, is a young medical practitioner and an acting Medical Director at 3M&C Medical Centre in East Legon, Accra. He has particular interest in public health advocacy and the use of digital tools to improve health outcomes. His practicing interest is in Family Medicine and is currently a Family Physician Specialist trainee at the Ghana College of Physician & Surgeons and the West Africa College of Physicians & Surgeons.
Since becoming a Doctor in Ghana in 2019, he has been practicing in Ghana’s peri-urban centres where he has been confronted with the stark realities of Ghana’s healthcare system and its systemic neglect for peculiar issues concerning young people. He launched his own project, the Health Quarters
Ghana initiative in 2021
(https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCml6rrKzZy2zOZiOsY-rJmA) targeted at leveraging digital media and viral comic skits as tools to educate the Ghanaian public about key health myths and misconceptions.
As a digital health enthusiast, he has been involved in local collaborations in Ghana on the deployment of tech health initiatives and on the global level, was one of the 13 participants of the maiden HUMANS FOR DIGITAL HEALTH
CAMPAIGN organized by the Young Experts; Tech 4 Health and funded by the
Foundation Botnar group. His documentary

Dr. Assan has been involved in youth leadership and advocacy for the past decade and has been President of the local chapter of the University Medical Students Association at the University of Cape Coast (UCC-SMS) as well as the Vice President of Ghana’s Federation of Medical Students Association.
He has benefited from a number of Continuous Professional Development training programs including a Point of Care Ultrasound training program organized by the Worldwide Radiology in 2022 University of Salford, UK. He is a member of several health professional groups in Ghana where he plays roles at different levels to mobilize new and open conversations about better health systems in Ghana.

Agatha Rockson, ESQ – Non-Executive Director

Agatha Rockson, Esq. is a distinguished legal professional whose career seamlessly bridges the domains of law, human resource management, and public sector governance. With over a decade of experience, she has earned a reputation for her strategic insight, ethical leadership, and commitment to institutional excellence.
Agatha began her legal journey with a strong foundation in corporate and administrative law, later expanding her expertise into regulatory compliance and public health law through her work with both private and public healthcare institutions. At Allied Healthcare, she played a pivotal role in shaping legal frameworks that govern health insurance operations, ensuring alignment with national policy and international best practices.
Her Human Resource experience is equally robust. Agatha has led HR departments in both public and private institutions, driving initiatives in talent acquisition, performance management, and labour relations. Her ability to interpret and apply employment law has made her a trusted advisor in organizational restructuring and workforce development.
Beyond her operational roles, Agatha is a passionate educator and mentor. She has lectured in law and human resource management at the tertiary level, where she inspires future professionals with her blend of academic rigor and real-world experience. Her teaching emphasizes ethical leadership, legal reasoning, and the strategic role of HR in institutional growth.
Agatha holds an LL.B and postgraduate qualifications in both law and leadership governance and she is a proud member of the Ghana Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). Her career reflects a deep commitment to public service, legal integrity, and the empowerment of people through policy and education.

Douglas Nketiah Boahene – Non-Executive Director

Douglas is a legal professional based in Ghana with expertise in various areas of law, including strategic advisory, land transactions, litigation and helping companies mitigate potential risks.
As a seasoned expert in land transactions, Douglas guides individuals and corporations through the intricacies of land acquisition including due diligence and regulatory compliance. His deep understanding of Ghana’s land tenure systems ensures that transactions are conducted without hitches.
He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and seeks to guide individuals and companies through alternative dispute resolution processes, offering them an efficient and effective method of resolving legal conflicts outside of the courtroom, including arbitration and mediation.
For land-related conflicts, which can be notoriously protracted and costly, he offers a pathway to resolution that is often faster, more private, and more costeffective than traditional litigation.

Salisu Umar – Non-Executive Director

Salisu is an administrator with experience spanning several years. He is a graduate of Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. He has worked in several sectors, including banking where he worked in Internal Control in Lagos, Nigeria; oil & gas, facilitating supplies and delivery of petroleum products; and marine, where he worked in agency and management of ocean-going tankers.

Kwame Wiafe Adjei Esq (MCIARB) – Non-Executive Director

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). His academic endeavours continued with professional legal training at the Gambia Law School, where he completed the Professional Law Course (BL) and was called to the Gambian Bar. Following this, he pursued further legal education at the Ghana Law School, obtaining the Postcall Professional Law Course(BL) and subsequently, an LLM (Masters) in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He currently serves as the Managing Partner of Claybrook Partners.
In addition, he has continuously enriched his legal acumen through various certifications and courses. Noteworthy among these are the Trade Rules, Sustainable Development Goals and the law Course – Express Interest from University of Cambridge, Advanced International Certificate in Intellectual Property by (WIPO, KIPO, KIPA, KAIST), General Course on Intellectual Property from WIPO, Course on Climate Change Law from the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL). His dedication to enhancing expertise in arbitration is evident through certifications and membership from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb)UK.
He possesses a wealth of experience in consulting for and representing a diverse array of both local and international companies spanning various sectors such as finance, agriculture, import-export, construction, corporate and commerce.

Gwendolyn Barnie Boahen – Executive Director

Gwendolyn Barnie Boahen is a Marketing Executive, Professional Member of the Chartered Institute Of Marketers, Ghana (CIMG) and aspiring Chartered Member and a Google Certified Marketer with experience in one of the leading financial institutions in Ghana with close to two decades of experience spanning different levels of the organisational structure.
She has held her current position since 2018 and, during this time, has led the rebranding of the subsidiary and the transformation of integrating soft services, equipment and infrastructure for electronic marketing on all social media platforms. This has enabled clients communicate with the institution directly and in a timely manner, and has also partnered with institutions to increase the visibility of the organization.
She is a licensed investment officer accredited by the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Ghana and actively engage in customer service and sales of products and services for the first investment institution established in Ghana.
She is a Corporate Behaviour and Customer Service Trainer. She was the secretary for the rebranding committee of HFC Bank to Republic Bank. A lead in the product development of the Republic Investment Gift Voucher and organised the launch of the Novel Product Collective Investments Scheme (CIS), Republic Wealth Trust.
She is a passionate social individual and engages in countless social activities at all levels to interact with people across the social levels. She is a member of the Roverman Production and couples as an associate for philanthropic activities, mainly with Sunny FM. Gwendolyn has engaged in other forms of service promotion, from public communications to service and product sales in the media and general insurance space.
Her comprehensive experience in product sales and services, coupled with her adventurous nature, equips her with the tenacity to stabilise and grow businesses. with reliance on success.
Gwendolyn holds a Bachelor of Economic & Business Administration from Catholic University in Ghana, a Master in Marketing from the University of Professional Studies, Accra Ghana, LLB from the University of Professional Studies, Accra and a Licensed Investments Officer.
